The superpowered sequel opened to a whopping $180 million, making it the biggest debut of all time for an animated film. A title previously held by another Pixar sequel, 2016’s Finding Dory, which opened to $135 million.

The film also now stands as the eight-biggest domestic opening of all time, reports Variety, as well as surpassing last year’s Beauty and the Beast remake, which opened $174.6 million to become the best debut of a PG-rated film.
